I spent the summer as an Artist in Residence at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, working on an array of Cenozoic fossils, and sneaking in some Oreodont field work. One of the most beautiful places I have been lucky enough to work at.

Started teaching mammal evolution!

 

 

Behind the scenes night! I had a table talking to the public about how scientific illustrations for publications are done.

Started teaching Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy lab with cat dissection!

Presented my capstone artwork at the Natural Science Illustration class of 2013 art show at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.

Employed through the Biology Department at the University of Washington as a scientific illustrator!

I graduated with my bachelors’ degree from the University of Washington!

Major: Biological Anthropology

Minor: Paleobiology
